Our
History
In 1932, at 39 S. DesPlaines Street, Mr. Wesley
M. McAfee founded Alliance Hose & Rubber Company, a
hose and coupling distributor serving construction and
industrial suppliers. Since then, the company has made it a
mission to provide quality cost effective hose solutions using
superior materials and technical expertise.
In 1945 Alliance Hose moved to 30 S. Jefferson
Street and in 1953, Bud Heckler, Mr. McAfee’s son-in-law
joined Alliance Hose as a salesman. In May 1956 Alliance moved
to 649 W. Washington which was centrally located to the new
Northwest Highway. In 1974 Alliance moved to its current
location at 1061 W. Jackson and the following year Bud became
president of Alliance Hose. In 1994, Dave Heckler, Bud
Heckler’s son joined the Alliance Hose team as General Manager
and in 1999 he became president of Alliance Hose.
